Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 90 points

  • The wine is clear and medium lemon in colour.
The nose is clean with medium (+) intensity aromas of citrus (lemon), stone fruit (white peach), tropical fruit (melon, mango), floral (honeysuckle), oak (vanilla, toast), mlf (butter), tertiary (nuts, gunslinger). The wine is developing.
The palate is dry with medium (+) acidity, medium (+) alcohol (13.5%), medium (+) body, medium (+) intensity flavours of peach, melon, vanilla, butter, nuts, flint. The finish is medium (+) length.
The wine is very good quality, lacking only some concentration and length to be outstanding.
The wine should be drunk now and is not suitable for further ageing, although there is no hurry to drink - next 2-3 years. The fresh fruit is starting to fade and although it is still has good concentration and acidity, it seems unlikely that further tertiary development will significantly improve the wine.
