Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 89 points

  • Light straw yellow. A ripe, expressive, fresh nose, with lemon, greengage, honeysuckle and mineral notes, some chalkiness. On the palate, ripe, rich and moderately complex with good mid palate weight. Lemon, gooseberry and some tropical fruits. Seemed to put on weight in the glass, with time. But quite precise, intense and vibrant, with good acids, not a broad and overdone 2009. A food wine, went beautifully with roast vegetables, asparagus and feta. Would probably cellar medium term, but I cannot resist them now. 89 pts. Good QPR.
