Completely integrated. Everything is hanging on but you can tell the fruit is about to show itself the door. For so much Cab Franc I was surprised there wasn’t more noticeable green peppers etc. Instead it was more the whiff you may get when someone else at the table orders a sizzling plate of fajitas. Ripe dark berries, black cherry, charcoal briquette, raspberry coulis, mushroom.

Absolutely floored by this ... Love when I can get my hands on early Realm wines, and this was no exception! On tasting the first word that comes to mind is 'fresh', as if it was just released ... I've had wines a decade younger that weren't on the same level of freshness. Dark ruby at the core with only a hint of fading at the rim. Blue fruits (black cherry) dominated both on the notes and on the palate, but there were definitely some red fruits vying for attention as well. Nice dusty tannins and good acidity tells me that this has many years ahead. Day 2 = Day 1.
PSA - took heed of previous taster's note on cork coming apart, and used a durand. Glad I did as I could see the same thing happening to mine.
I am not a big Cab Franc guy but this iwne is in a beautiful phase now. No green pepper, lush berries light to no tannins. Drink this winter comfortably

Cork disintegrated even using wine pull but after decanting wine is still fantastic and going strong.

Fantastic. Elegant aging gracefully. Sadly last bottle though moving into its secondary aging period
