The CellarTracker community currently rates the 2011 Chateau Turcaud Entre-Deux-Mers Blanc as 88 points. I am in direct alignment with that rating. I prefer full bodied reds, but I very much enjoyed this white. I will explore other semillon-sauvignon blanc blends in the future.
Producer's Notes: Beautiful pale yellow with green highlights. Very intense citrus and tropical fruit (mango, lychee, and lime) aromas and beautiful floral overtones. Very crisp and fruity with good length. The aromatic complexity on the nose follows through on the palate with extreme finesse. This wine is best enjoyed within two years of the vintage, well-chilled as an aperitif, with all sorts of seafood, or with goat's milk, ewe's milk, and hard cheeses. This wine is a pure delight. ---------------
Rating Scale: Extraordinary (95-100 points); Outstanding (90-94); Very Good to Excellent (85-89); Good (80-84); Average (75-79); Below average (70-74); Avoid (50-69)

A nice white table wine. Very pale yellow in color. Citrus on the nose. Strong taste of green apples. Paired nicely with homemade chicken and dumplings.

Very smooth. Tart lime and grapefruit with just a touch of cream and honey. Originally purchased as part of a tasting at Moore brothers in NYC.
