  Straightforward nose of flowers, fruit, and leather. Good dose of salty fruit on the palate in a cheerful acid frame. Honest table wine, perfect with pizza.

  Leather and spice, a stinky earthy vegetal note giving way to strawberries and roses. Broad layer of concentrated fruit on the palate with tannins still kicking strongly, a fine aromatic leathery afternote. Rich and powerful, not terribly well integrated, excellent with pizza.

  On the nose a lovely blend of red berry, black pepper, leather, a hint of violets, with a top note of coffee. Focused fruit on the center of the palate with a good acid frame, peppery after notes. Chewy with a medium acid finish. Light, but with density and character.

  I like this. It has a rich, somewhat organic nose with a bit of cherry or licorice. Cherry and some berry flavors. Dark color, moderate mouthfeel. Mild acidity and a touch of bitterness.

  Solid Chianti, but a bit rustic. Tarter cherry than a Classico. On the down slope, so drink up.
