This bottle was pretty advanced. It was stored at someone else's place under unknown conditions though. I opened a 2011 right after that was drinking great.

Powerful nose of berry fruit, earth and flowers. Rich yet light on its feet, with complex flavors that reflect the nose and mouth-coating intensity with silky texture. Hard to argue with pinot like this, and insane QPR. Drinking great right now if you like fruit, but no hurry if you prefer sur maturite.

Pop and pour and followed for many hours. This needed at least an hour or two to come together. Red and black cherries, black raspberries, earth, forest vegetation, clove, cocoa, and a hint of vanilla on the nose. Red and black cherry, spice, earth, tart cherry, a little vanilla, and a hint of cedar on the palate. Good juicy acidity, very nice structure, and a good finish. This bottle, while delicious, seemed to have a little less energy than the last one. I'm still surprised that the earthiness is more French than Oregon. I'll try the next bottle in 6-12 months (unless I get impatient).

Pretty, light ruby color. Gorgeous nose - red cherries, old strawberries, black raspberry bramble, fresh churned brown dirt, some faint black truffle, pie crust and baking spice. Delicious fruit and earth flavors on the palate with seamless balance given the sediment. Wishing this had been a case buy at the price. Awesome stuff.
