Weekly tasting group #035; Southwest France: Cahors (@ WW): Creamy and cherry yoghurt in the bouquet and after a while also some tobacco and ink appear. On the palate cherries and some berry fruits, but also a bit vegetal and with a firm amount of acidity and slightly sticky tannin. A basic wine that will improve a bit with some ageing, but will never be great.

Weekly tasting group #027; Southwest France. (@ BS): Dark blood red. The bouquet is still a bit locked, but there are impressions of candy fruits with some acidity and sweetness. On the palate round and juicy primary medium dark fruits, round tannin with some bite and bitterness. Ok acidity. Overall a basic and ok wine without being special.
