  • Blend of Hondarribi Zuri (white grape) and Hondarribi Beltza (red grape) with a slight fizz. Just so minerally with strawberries galore and a slight bitterness that really adds interest. Love this wine.

  • Delicious. Clearly and unequivocally superior to the 2012... but that's splitting hairs. This vintage is as spritzy and fun as any, but possesses a roundness and balance that's missing in the slightly-too-angular 2012. This was a fun, joyous bottle that reminded me why it's one of our perennial favorite rose wines.

  • Lightly effervescent. Terrific nose of melon, strawberry, earth, chalk, lime, and flowers. Citrus, minerals, and earth on the dry, tart, and refreshing palate. Light texture, ripping acidity, not much finish. Overall, I really liked this wine. It was a bit simple but quite cleansing and fun. It made me crave a bunch of shellfish on the beach. I wish it was a bit cheaper though.

  • I really wanted to like this wine more - cool bottle, had some spritz, I couldn't pronounce the words on the label - what's not to like? It was just kinda...dull. We did drink it without food, and a number of the people drinking it said they liked it. I just didn't think there was much to it.

  • A nondescript lightly fizzy light pink wine. The nose was so weak that I wondered if allergies were affecting me, but I can smell other things without a problem. This had a light odor of melon and a bit of floral scent. It tastes faintly of strawberry and melon, and it has decent acidity along with a not-unpleasant slightly oily texture. This might work well with seafood, or something else calling for a very light wine, but by itself it's unimpressive, though not insipid. Edit: My wife liked it a lot more than I did; she thought it well-balanced, which it is.
