Jersey Girls Road Trip - A Story by the Chauffeur; 4/27/2012-5/2/2012 (Solvang, CA): Winner winner. This was included in my tasting as the last in the pinot noir flight. Delicious wine. Light weight tannins well balanced with enough acid and dark fruit. Nice complexity and mouthfeel. Medium/+ finish. This is drinking right in the wheel house now.
Liked it enough to purchase a bottle for Kim, she promised to save it for me. I'm thinking this paired with a BBQ turkey with the all the works... can't wait.

Kim said "Brig, where did this Carlson come from, it's been in my closet".
Heck, never heard of it, let me check cellartack but let's open it for T-Day as I'm grilling a turkey.
A bit stewed, strong cedar, and a decent food wine. Drink up.
