  Melon, butterscotch, soft tropical fruits with slated caramel; peach, nectarine, baked apple, good lift, plush entry; some oak, but structured and balanced. Really nice.

  With a touch of honeyified tropicality and marzipan. Mellow ripe apple with baking spices. Baked apple, yet green fruit and herbs as well and refreshing acidity, too. Juicy but nutty. This is a bit of a paradox, walking the line between overt ripeness and cautious restraint. Well there has to be a winner, but not by much.

  Garagiste Festival- Southern Exposure; 2/16/2013-2/18/2013 (Solvang, CA- 2/16/2013): Lime and slate are prevalent along with subtle notes of toast. Bright mineral-driven palate with lingering notes of citrus zest and spice on the finish.
