pnp, wow! absolutely fantastic. better then most brunello's at a lower price point. Great dark cherry, leather and cedar notes on both the nose and palette. Held up over 3 nights but was best on night 1. Drink over the next 2-3 years.

WSET Level 3 Session 4 (WSET): Appearance is clear, deep intensity, garnet colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of earth, soy sauce, sour red cherries. Developed. On the palate, dry, medium acidity, high alcohol, dry pucker medium tannins, medium body. Medium flavor intensity, with flavours of leather, earth, soy sauce, and sour red cherries. Medium finish. Good quality. But tastes far more aged than its 2007 vintage would suggest. Possibly a storage condition issue for this bottle.

This will certainly last until 2025 which is the CT end of drinking window. Really nice fruit, acidity, structure. Went well with the pizza. Save the other 3 for at least 5 years.

- Garnet color - Very nice chianti; balanced enough to drink without food but much better with a heavy lasagne dish. Looking for more in the cellar; plan to open in 5 more years after it has mellowed a little more.

Wait until 2020 for the next bottle. Enjoyable, earthy, laid back fruit. Nice nose of earth and dark red fruit.
