  • This wine was sealed with a bottle cap styled topping and then dipped in hard wax. Ok, kind of funky cool - but it worked great! Fresh, lively, young tasting. None of the dreaded bell pepper taste I really hate in a loire cab franc so that moves it to the top of the pile just for openers! Not an earthy version but more fruit- ripe cherry and mineral. Nicer than my last bottle opened six years ago.

  • An ultra uber au natural Cab Franc that comes not with a cork but a bottle cap closure! Bright fruits, a streak of tart acids. Juicy but not over the top. No signs of the dreaded bell pepper. Nice Tuesday night quaffer.

  • Wow. Never quite know what to get when opening up a bottle from Garagiste. This one has a bottle cap, which was interesting. The nose was all dirty diaper and barnyard. A hint of something spicy came out after a while. The palate is mineral, limestone, dark red fruit, and a bit of mint on the finish. I'd buy this again at the Garagiste price. This one came as part of my mystery case.
