Inviting nose suggesting ocean air (not to extent of many good Chablis). Hints of vanella from oak. nice fruit/acid balance. Drinking very well now despite suggested drinking window Just wouldn't hold longer.

Light-medium gold color. Drank a glass over an hour. Another very fine St. Aubin, nose shows saline minerality, lemon, pastry, flint, oak. The palate is full bodied, lemon, flint, oak, ocean flavors.

Bright palate, clear and white fruits (like last September, I am tempted to use "orchard fruits" as a descriptor, but I have the same reluctance, because what type of orchard?). Good acidity. There is a bit of wood, and at times it seems the alcohol is a bit much, and the wine could use better harmony. As the wine airs, more vanilla comes out. Finishes with bitter pit fruit. Good, not excellent.

Much better showing than 4/2013. This has come together nicely. Ripe clear and white fruits. (I'm tempted to write "orchard fruits", but is it a peach orchard or an apple orchard or another type of orchard? And wouldn't one taste the fruit itself, and if so, why not name the fruit? But I digress). The oak peeks out a bit, but it's not new wood (thankfully) and it imparts a good, grippy textural element to the palate. This is bright, fresh and pleasing. Rosh in New City.

this was excellent, beautiful orchard fruit, slight caramel, great color and whispy dryness. Yum, wish I had more.
