Directly after opening very disappointing, thin nose and palate. My first thought was that this wine had already lost its fruit, I was beginning to question the Noellat style and potential for cellaring the bottles. After half an hour in glass the wine luckily opened up a bit. Next day: lovely texture, cassis and red fruit, great body, vivid acidic backbone, some secondary tones, lovely wine. Unbelievable how tight a 2010 Bourgogne can be after 6 years and how much is hidden!

parfumed bright red fruit, and allready some light secondary notes, and spiciness. drinking very good at the moment and further in its development then I would expected.

Nose some red fruit, young, some green notes in the background. Taste red fruit, some round tannins, minerals, surprisingly complex. Midpalate has good concentration and the taste lingers on afterwards. This is a fine Bourgogne, drinking already nice, will be much better in a few years.

The Dirty Dozen Tasting 2013 (Il Botaccio, London): Lovely Barolo-like nose of pressed flowers. Marked acidity and quite chewy but overall impression is of freshness. 16/20. 2014+
