PopnPour, tasted over 3 hrs -nearly semi-translucent, mild bricking -moderately aromatic right out of the gate with barrel spice rhubarb early mature elements -med+ bright acidity, med- weight lively mid-palate lacking density but nice sappy residue with fruit nearly completely resolved leaving a pleasant slightly herbal bitter earthy impression that lingers on the finish, somewhat dried out med- tannins -at or slightly past prime drinking but still pleasant because of the lively acidity

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like raspberry, mushroom, vanilla, light toast and tobacco. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

PnP. The wine performed just as expected for 2007 CdB from this producer and I was pleased. Very light colored (like a red rose). Floral and light aromas of red berries and some mineral. Light bodied, good acidity (not overt and matched to fruit weight). Nice pinot and this paired well with pan-seared walleye. Fresh tasting now and I do not plan to age the few remaining bottles.

Let og elegant men også kedelig og anonym. Behagelig at drikke men efterlader ikke det store indtryk.
