  • Bright pale/med gold. Buttery, creamy nose with biscuitty notes and a slight mineral edge. Medium/full bodied, quite rich on initial entry, nice ripe fruit, buttery, creamy, then some attractive limey acidity on the fresh, good length finish. Very good indeed and drinking well.

  • Medium straw yellow, golden tints.
Medium intense, lightly honeyed aromas, quite rich, biscuity with hints of butter.
On the palate a medium + bodied wine with firm, almost crisp acidity and significantly less richness than on the nose, with floral characters on the mid-palate and citrus on a decent length finish.
There is just enough depth and weight here to balance the relatively high acidity, and this should improve further over the next 2-3 years.

  • Table & Vine Burgundy Tasting Tutored By Clive Coates. Straw yellow color. High acidity. A little unbalanced. Decent finish. Definitely not worth $53.
