Charming on the nose, showing a bit musky, and of old wood, with some butterscotch and caramel accents. Changing often in the glass, from oxidative to fresh, then somewhat flat, before finding a good balance between all extremes. Meyer lemon, popcorn butter, kiss of sweet oak vanilla, and faint green apple on the palate. Mid weight to rich, there's good nervous acidity running through it (showing savory and saline at times) and gutsy tannin through the back, finishing well with a good mix of power and grace. Compelling wine that flirted with being advanced or ox'd, but rallied and ended up showing well.

Last of my three bottles, and none of them oxidized; very fortunate, since one of my bottles of the 2005 Tesson suffered a bit. This was fresh and vibrant, loaded with florals and a nice mineral backbone. Almost seemed like an imaginary blend of Meursault and Puligny (though I believe this vineyard is on the north end of the Meursault appellation). Very, very nice, and was lovely on the second day, too.

Thankfully, not premoxed. Some oak and butter on the nose, along with a slight nuttiness and some white fruit. Fairly racy acidity, lively, a somewhat tense wine with focused white fruit and citrus, certainly not plush, lemon finish, developed very nicely in the glass over the course of an hour or so. Very good.
