very strong smoky nose, bonfires plus some sweet fruity nose Peppery, chilli notes come out with some water, some sweet supporting sherried notes, creamy texture Nice blend of smoke and sweetness - balanced

Medium-light daffodil color. This is very balanced throughout both the nose and the palate. Seashore and iodine aromas mingle with a malty sweetness, some faint citrus fruit smells, and a light touch of peaty smoke. This is very agile on the palate, again with a balance of maritime nuance, ripe fruit, sweetly malty flavors, and peat smoke. The intensity on the latter is significantly below that of the usual Islay suspects, making this feel altogether more clean and light-bodied in the mouth. The finish is moderate. Not really the type of Island malt that knocks you out of your boots, which may be a good or bad thing depending on your preferences. I enjoyed sipping this, but found it a bit lacking in body to make a more forceful recommendation.

W.A.N.K. (Zoom call): Lovely iodine, smoked herring, cream and apple, slight rubber. Smoky and quite rich on the palate. Nice.
