At Accuiga restaurant, London, £6.50/glass. Much richer and riper on the nose than I expected, primarily peaches and apricots. Medium-bodied palate. The girls enjoyed it.

Pale straw. Medium+ intense aromas of lemon and apricots. Strikingly the palate moves into a more earthy style with herb garden coming to the fore complementing the fresh fruit. Medium+ acidity and weight gives this a mouthwatering full mouthfeel. While the nose lacks complexity, the whole package makes for a quality wine, and there is a lot going on here.

Pale yellow in the glass, bright nose, balanced acidity that grips the tongue, notes of ripe bartlett pear, citrus and a hint of effervescence. Nice.
