Bought this bottle at the winery last year. Enjoyed it with petrale sole with lemon caper sauce. Nice lush texture and tropical notes with a toasted almond essence.

Popped and poured from cellar. Nose of pineapple. Palate has the same fruit follow through as the nose with a zingy acidic texture. I also got some butterscotch on the finish. Nice enjoyable summer wine. 87

The Rhone Rangers (City Winery, 155 Varick Street, New York, NY 10013): The nose showed rich nectarine and spicy floral notes. On the palate, it was velvety smooth and balanced with white fruits, spiced apple and saline minerals. The finish was long and waxy yet remained fresh through the close.

We had this with a cheese platter on 9/21/12. It had a gentle, elegant bouquet of lychee, pineapple, dusty oak and mineral aromas. The palate was smooth and well balanced with good acidity and flavors of lychee, pineapple, mineral and spice.
