A wonderful Malbec, confirming the excellent ageing potential of this grape. Still a lot of freshness. Mature red berries, vanilla, cedar, tobacco, toast, mokka and subtle herb aromas. Still improving and built for at least another decade.

Hints of chocolate licorice dark fruits on thenose, full bodied very dark some spices and dark fruit again in the mouth some length, more agricultural than the equivalent Argentinian Malbecs, decent but not great.

A little hard but on the nose it convinces me with that aroma of ripe black fruit. In the mouth I prefer its harmony between acidity and density rather than its rotundity and its wood in the form of vanilla tablets. Seriousness this is good enough but at the same time really bores.
Un pelín duro pero en nariz me gana su fruta negra madura. En boca me quedo con su armonía entre acidez y densidad antes que con su rotundidad y su madera en forma de tabletas de vainilla. Seriedad que convence pero que al mismo tiempo aburre.

Chateau Lagrezette, Cahors (Wine-Route, Raanana): dark red-black chocolate & licorice notes on the fruity aroma full bodied, good acidity level, round tannins, liquorice & caramel flavours, dark fruits, pleasant long aftertaste. ready to drink.

Tannic monster despite its age. Full body. Dark color. Vanilla notes, a bit spicy. Good QPR.
