A lot going on here. light color/body. Not a ton of oak, making it seem old world , if blind. Plenty of secondary elements.(soil, stone) There's a chalky/raspy note , that I find similar to Cab Franc, that I find pleasant here , while it's the reason I hate total Cab Francs. It's noticeable, but doesn't dominate the wine, like it does in Cab Franc. Very interesting, and enjoyable wine.
This on the better side of Oregon Pinot Noir bottlings in the price range. It shows an interesting textural element, very good concentration, and an inviting taste profile. Very good acid, respectable balance, medium plus finish. Enjoyable.
