Wow. Delightful lemongrass nose. Wonderful acidity that stays balanced. No hotness on the finish. Unusual richness in the mouth. Slight grapefruit and pears. Just darn nice!

Not as good as previous vintages I've had, but still one of the most interesting Sauvignon Blancs I've tasted. Intense flavors - classic grassiness, citrus, and acidity.

Vintage Select Industry Tasting (Vintage Select Warehouse, Houston, TX): Really good stuff, I would like to take this and do a blind challenge with Arkenstone. At first, classic aromas of citrus, dill, and fresh cut grass along with grapefrut, chive, and some earthy mineral aroma that is just captivating. In the palate, lots of lime and grapefruit with chive, dill, lemongrass, followed by lychee with this incrediable sense of a saline solution like great Chablis or Sancerre. Great crisp mineral finish. Well-balanced, intensely perfumed and flavored - this is one of the most fascinating Cali SBs I've tasted. Still trying to wrap my head around this.
