Very well balanced but not particularly expressive right now. Blackcurrant, strawberry, powdered mushrooms. Hardly budged across 3 hours in a decanter. Maybe I should have held this another 5-10 years to go for autumnal tertiary complexity, which was the original plan when purchased at the winery in 2013. The 2011 Rhys Alpine earlier this weekend had more complexity and structure and therefore potential, as this was flat and boring in comparison. A lovely complement tp n'juda-seared tuna (but so would just about anything). Pretty classic Oregon PN overall, just pricey. 92 quality but 90 experience for me on this night.

Incredibly smooth, floral in an interesting way. Fresh air. Clean cotton. Plum. Apricot. Lavender maybe. One of those bottles I suddenly regret opening because it should have been saved for something really special. Great bottle of wine.

crimson colored -medium legs . Seems a bit too commercial with not a lot of individual character but a reliable new world pinot. Nose of raisin and strawberry . A bit of earthyness and good but undistinguished-MUch better values in the market for this quality

Cherry and some cola with blueberries over a soft core. Nice but not over the top.

Nose and first taste of cherry cola, medium finish, pleasant acidity, but I suspect it is not at its peak drinkaliciousness.
