Wines from America's Northwest (Bin 75): Straw green; aromatic nose of spearmint, melon, and white flowers; palate is medium bodied with spicy tingle, underripe peach, hints at tropical fruit but very restrained for Viognier; food friendly and very tasty.

Friday Night Double Blind Tasting $40+ (Bin 75): Chilled; very pale color; apple, pear, white flower blossoms; crisp, floral note really fans out on the palate along with stone fruit and spice; restrained and elegant Viognier.

Very pale color; white flowers and a little banana, high toned floral notes, medium bodied, peppery. Pretty viognier where others can be so overblown with ripeness and alcohol. This comes in at 13.75%.

Finally a Viognier I like. It has the characteristic big floral, fruity nose. However the palate is met with a great apple flavors with a little acidity and minerality, with a nice citrus finish. This wine is excellent with mild seafood and cold pasta salad, typical summertime dishes. An excellent QPR.
