Cork fell apart. Wine had the appearance of a younger Bordeaux., dark and purple. Everything was fine with the aroma and taste. Smooth like an 18 year old Bordeaux. Wish I had more. This was the last bottle of my "old Bordeaux".

Very nice the first night. Finish was fairly long, and had hints of sweetness. Maybe slightly over the hill. The second night not very pleasant, with a bitter character, especially in the finish. This is a sign that the wine is headed downhill, and should be consumed immediately the first night. My last bottle.

Very well aged, and still showing fruit and integrated tannins. This wine has really developed since I last sampled it. I won't wait any longer on the other ones, and I wished I had more.

A pleasant, straightforward Graves. Notes of smoke and forest floor on the nose. Decent, slightly stewed red/black fruit. A bit dilute on the midpalate and finish. Good value for the price ($15).

Pleasant wine, with characteristic notes of pencil lead, muted cassis, and - oddly - strawberry jam. It took about two hours to open up in the glass.
