The award winner in a group of 3 bordeauxs consumed by a panel of 4 very discerning wine critics. One said, "a very complex advanced wine not for the casual red wine drinker;" 2 others scrambled to write the name down of this one to get more of it. For me, it was a bit too heavy on the wood. I guess I am more into the $10-12 "dilute" tasting bordeauxs. Overall though in this group it was extremely popular.

A bit heavy, little complexity. Less interesting than last time.
Un peu lourd, peu complexe. Moins intéressant que la bouteille précédente.

Dark color. Classical Claret nose. Tannins starting to be well integrated. Arriving at maturity. All in all a classical, very well done, Bordeaux.
Robe sombre. Nez bordelais classique. Tannins commençant à bien s'intégrer. Arrivant à maturité. Au bilan un classique Bordeaux, très bien fait.
