This wine was still in good shape. Ripe cherries, a bit of forestfloor, dried frensh herbs and malt. Round tannins, still a good acidity and a medium long finish. Very burgundian in its approach. Drink now!

a bit disappointing, perhaps it is past it's prime? Or perhaps I just am not amenable to this old of a PN. No fruit in the palate or on the nose. No tannins, more akin to an older Bourdeaux Superieure than anything else. No real improvement after 24 hours either....

Way past it's prime. Barely drinkable.

Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting (Walnut Creek, Ca.): Lovely, rich, fruity taste, touch of earth and bitter sweet/sour fruit on the nose, nice, medium/long finish.
