  This was scary-good. I wasn't optimistic about this bottle, because the cork was not in good shape and failed without grace on extraction. However, the wine was very fragrant, particularly strong old roses note. Beautiful color! Strawberries and pomegranate flavors, slight acidity, no tannins. Delicious! To those of you who still have this cellared, you'll be very happy. This is drinking beautifully now.
