My last bottle of this, and another solid showing.
Medium gold. Wax, banana, on the nose. Palate has tropical fruit, peach, kiwi, bit of petrol into the finish. Much stronger petrol nose on night 2, and similar notes on the palate.

A little on the sweet side, even for a Spätlese. But, delicious nonetheless, and possessing just enough acidity. Orchard fruit and citrus aromas, followed by creamy banana (??) and white peach...think, Creamsicle. Went fabulously with stir fried veggies and Andouille sausage served with sourdough bread.

Similar to previous note but this tasted a little more flat. Cork showed little bit of seepage. Nose smells slightly toasty, petrol. Nice soft notes of ripe peach. Slightly round.

Pear, with petrol as a secondary deep in the background. Wet stone. Beautiful balanced palate that is mouth watering delicious. Light to medium acidity. Fruit on the palate is really the knockout here. Brown sugar pear and honey. If the nose was expressive this would be mid 90s for me.

Very sweet, almost tart. Decent sipping wine. Heavy flavor. Might be good with food, especially cheese.
