We had some concern that we had cellared this too long, but it held up beautifully. Great structure with dark fruit and spice notes, typical of Russian River Zins. Very pleasant finish.

Opens with a lot of brett. Cherry, bosenberry and sweet spice emerge with airation. Touch of brett on the palate, framed by bosenberry, licorice and mineral flavors. Very approachable now as the tannins have integrated nicely. Should be drunk soon before the brett becomes more pronounced. Drink now. 87 pts.

bright polished red fruits. tannin is in such a great spot right now. light clove nuance in the nose. restrained zin body style. opens up to a flash of some oak and dry root beer essence. i'd say this is almost to it's apogee. drink by 2015.
