  • Run away. DNPIM. My notes say this is Morgon but it's rose in color, many big chunks of sediment and it smells like turpentine. I don't know what happened here but I do not like it. I'm very open minded to natural wines but this one is just plain not good. I couldn't pour it down the sink fast enough.

  • Light and a bit unclear red/pink color. Hints of bubbles. Lovely strawberry aromas, mixed with some funky yest. Forward style. Lean and tender in the mouth. A bit short. Different opinions about this around the table. Some hated it, some loved it. I belong to the latter.

  • Color is very light, like rose, and turbid - you cant actually see trough. Holding the bottle up against an light bowl shows how much sediments it has (it is quite a lot).
The nose is pleasant with red currant and raspberry. The first sip actually reminds me of something sparkling but that goes fast away after a short while. The acidity is present and the tannins is in there somewhere. A bit muddy finish.

  • Bubbles after pouring suggesting some bottle fermentation went on. Lots of cabbage and barnyard during the first hour. Almost too funky at this stage. After that it gets better and reveals quite a lot of complexity.

(Shouldn't be registered as "2010" in here since it is "Vin de France" and as such is NV?)

  • Immediately it is very unclean and has quite a bit Co2. After a few days open this blows off to reveal a very pure and bright fruit. Very succulent, and with great finesse. Excellent wine!
