A nice middle ground between the classic acidic sauvignon blancs and the creamy California style. Bright and crisp with lots of grapefruit and lemon, but creamy enough to stand on its own. Very enjoyable.

Bright lemon custard, floral, some unripe peach. Slightly creamy texture, but with good acid verve, hint of mineral. Not overtly Cali SB. Great for July 4th outdoor dining now, but could see this developing with a couple of years in cellar if you're so inclined (I'm not).

Napa & Sonoma Trip (Dunn, O'Shaughnessy, Conn Valley, Seavey, TOR, Jemrose, Hansel); 7/23/2012-7/26/2012: Grapefruit and lemon, with medium to high acidity, and light to medium body. Nice balance in a crisper, less ripe style than many CA SB's.
