mmm... still not convinved. Have just been given another half dozen and the alcohol is still there. Good colour with depth and a brown tinge to it. The nose reminds me of an autumnal forest - mulchy leaves - before the alcohol comes in. There is some dried and stewed fruit on the palate which has a sweet acidic finish which lets it down although it feels flabby before this.

Have had several times before and still can't decide on this. Dark crimson colour, inital nose of oak followed by the alcohol but it seems closed. Inital palate is dried cherries, there is a refreshing acidity although slighty tart/bitter. Although not that approachable now it could be worth cellaring and approachng again in 5 years. Trouble is have drunk them all trying to work the wine out!
