  Held this for a few years past its prime. Medium garnet in the glass. Nose is fully developed with aromas of shiitake mushrooms, dried plum, dead flowers and some shades of jaminess as well. Medium-bodied. Tannis are super soft, acidity almost non-existent and alcohol quite high. The wine is on its final countdown, so don’t waste time on any expectations.

  This wine was a big surprise for me.Among all other Plavac Mali's I tasted that day,and I tasted a lot(wine fest),this expression of Plavac was the one that stood out.Among all of them this one,together with Korta Katarina Dingač was the one I liked the most.Latter I found out that it's a new producer from beautiful island of Brač.Way to go for someone who's just starting.This wine made a peace with Plavac Mali's predisposition to be too jammy and hot,and sometimes with off putting smell of overripen fruit,and a new style that wants to avoid these drawbacks but at the end hides the true wild nature of Plavac Mali.This wine for me has a perfect balance between these two.A wine well balanced,tamed to the point that allows Plavac Mali wildness to run freely,but never escapes and every new sip is a battle between the tamer and the beast.Exciting wine.

  Sailing in Croatia; 7/14/2012-7/23/2012 (Dalmatian Coast, Croatia): The grand cru ( vrhunsko vino ) expression of Stina. A good improvement from the kvalitetno (i guess that would be the "premier") version and with a whopping 15% alcohol which we have to say it is not imposing. Spicy notes, good fruit, fruit forward and well round. Balanced with more texture and although the wood is well present at this stage a few more years in bottle would help improve tho. 90 at the moment
  
  Speak about picking a bottle because of its label too, but a beautiful one to say the least.
