  • This late in the game, definitely overly-funky, in my opinion. Tending toward sour, but not in a nice way. Off-notes - I believe beer geeks talk about fusel alcohols? In any case, don't age this too long, is the moral of the story. Withholding a number rating because I remember fresher bottles being pretty awesome.

  • Interesting - while still a tasty beer, seems there may be some variation from bottle to bottle, especially if cellaring for a couple years like I did with these. This one has a big whopping mother funk barnyard load full of hay on the nose. Taste is also quite funky with the brett, not nearly as flowery as the other, and almost tending toward a sour beer. Can't help but wonder if this much time in the cellar is maybe tending just a little bit toward too much.

  • Fantastic on a warm summer Sunday. Pours a hazy light golden color with a medium head. Big aromas of bananas and bread and some cinnamon/nutmeg/clove spice. Hoppy and flowery, with honey and just a little barnyard funk. A pretty awesome craft saison.
