  This wine is a perfect proof for the old wisdom that you should look for basic wines in grand vintages. In fact, this pinot noir, which bears the simplest, lowest appellation in the region’s hierarchy, has everything that I look for in a burgundy. In a lightweight, fragile, gentle sort of way. It shows a nose of fresh red fruit, mostly cherry and red currant, a vibrant acidity, a silky texture in the mouth and more weight than you would have expected. It is very tender, very aromatic, tasty, really good to drink.

  Light garnet red, clean nose of strawberry and raspberry. On the palate lightweight red fruit, with good acidity, lacking structure, tannins come early and make this rather short. Maybe not the best bottle, but certainly not in a good spot right now. 85+?

  Oeil : rubis léger, à tendance trouble, viscosité moyenne+ en parois
  Nez : projection 4/10, frais, fruité devant rappelant la pomme-grenade, la framboise et la cerise, touche végétale, simple mais très invitant
  Bouche : sec, belle attaque simple et franche, acidité rafraîchissante, astringence moyenne+, amertume modérée, persistance plutôt courte, rétro fruitée, végétale
  Conclusion : très bon, nous avons beaucoup apprécié le fruit franc et croquant qui nous atteint tant au nez qu'en bouche, une belle fraîcheur, l'amertume contenu, et un bel équilibre d'ensemble. Excellent RQP. Évolution incertaine, mais nous y reviendrons avec plaisir pour en juger... 86+
