This is APN 011-12, NOT the GG bottling. Wines, and especially Pinot Noir, go through up-and-down phases so a declaration that a wine is on the downslope should always be taken with a degree of skepticism. That said, this wine seems as best I can tell to be on a downslope. A wonderful smooth, elegant, almost weightless texture, but the aromas and flavors are muddied, showing some red fruits and some oak. Cellared since original release.

Very elegant wine, decent wood, blackberries, quite light and not very tannic.

Few animal notes, chokeberry & mint. Elegant & multifaced.
Great stuff
