It’s been 5 years since I drank a bottle of this. It is still delicious, still big with fresh tasting fruit. Wish I had more bottles. It still has years to go to get to its best.

I haven't tried this wine since 2012 when I purchased it at the winery; the nose is big and ripe with lots of ripe red berry fruits (raspberry, black cherry) and baking spices (clove, anise, cinnamon). There are some dried floral notes and maybe a bit of earth underlying. The palate is very big for pinot with plush fruit and it feels borderline hot to me; there is definitely acidity that tries to balance, but it feels almost tangy in response to the alcohol. It is not bad with a grilled burger, but this is not really my style of pinot as its a bit too large scaled and borderline overripe.

Lighter red in color. Notes of violet and red fruit (raspberry?) on nose. Body has pepper, sour cherry. Medium bodied.

Bright red fruit flavours. Spicy and quite tannic. This has the stuff to last years. I suggest to give it a few years.
