One hour decant. Deep rusty rose color, with a slightly fading rim. Blood orange marmalade, pine nut, pewter, red cherry popsicle, light caramel and cola on the complex nose. Satiny, tongue coating palate, with soft acidity. Soft tannins on the medium short finish.
This is drinking nicely, but showing a surprising amount of age. This feels like it’s already past its peak based on the short finish. Drink these now while they are still nice.

Victoria is superb! Velvety smooth, light purple color, smooth bodied with great mouth feel, delicious berry fruit, light tannins and enough acidity to accompany a wonderful meal. I just wish I had more!

Tasted at the winery. 40% new French oak treatment over 11 months with 30% ABV. The wine is translucent light to medium ruby. The nose is a bit "perfumy" and somewhat green. On the palate I get ripe cherry, pomegranate, cedar and again some green/herbal notes. Like the Adriane Pinot Noir I did not find the 2013 as appealing or interesting as the 2014's or 2011's. Maybe some time will help round it out but...

Excellent Pinot with good structure and red fruits. On the lighter side but could improve with some more subtleties in the future.
