One of my favorites from Domaine Carneros. Golden yellow color, sweet yeast and fresh made toast on the nose. Has a greater weight on the palate and does not come across as lean and crisp due to the roundness of the citrus and toast through the finish.

Put in a new shelf in the cellar, which then required us to step back, open a bottle and admire our DIY prowess. On opening the nose is vanilla, honey and slightly burnt toast. The vanilla follows into the mouth while the honey and toast meld to a lovely rich brioche with a little lemon zest. The finish lingers nicely.
