Decanted 2 hours. Deep buy "read through" color with a clear rim and no bricking. Powerfully fragrant with ripe elements of black fruit, pan-fried herbs, licorice and a smoky/earthy note. Soft, rich and powerful on entry with slightly bitter, briary flavors that are balanced by ripe, sweet fruit. Full bodied and a bit hot as warms to room temperature, this has layers of flavors well resolved tannins and a glorious finish. Drink now through 2020.

Mostly black cherry here, with some red cherry notes. Roasted meat hints with savory spice. Broad textures, very good weight and balance. So much better vs another bottle from earlier this year (both purchased directly from Arcadian).

Purchased directly from the winery way back. Good red fruit aromas and flavors with moderate concentration and length. More simple vs complex, and I find it slightly more barnyard than I would prefer or like. Less interesting the 2nd day.

This was rocking. Significantly more integrated than last bottle, and the tannins are almost completely woven into the wine. Still a very dry finish, and noticeably woody to me, but I liked it quite a bit. Beginning to show tertiaries. Still great after being opened three nights under cork in the cellar.

(Arcadian Pinot Noir Fiddlestix Vineyard) Medium dark cherry red color with pale meniscus; ethereal, green, mineral, green pea and mint nose; tart red fruit, mineral palate with green notes, but solid; medium-plus finish
