  Wonderfully aged Napa cabernet. Everything in this bottle worked out: tannins almost completely resolved with some dust still present, lots of secondary aromas and flavors, fruit holding its own, balanced acidity. It also had some unique characteristics than other cabs-flavors more like huckleberries than currants, a touch of menthol, and cigar tobacco. Had with sirloin steaks grilled over oak in our fireplace on a snowy weekend. Great wine.

  - Crimsom color with slow forming legs and aromas of cedar and bell pepper. It's balanced and has flavours of cedar with a medium/full body. Smooth texture with a medium finish.
