Brought to a Napa tasting. Specifically, only valley fruit. PNP. Prime secondary phase drinking window. Not a crowd favorite but enjoyed by most. Perhaps a bit less unctuous then some of the other wines.

Not sure what to say about this one. Had first glass out of the Plum. Did not like it much. Read the other notes here and decided to decant the whole bottle and let it open up. Sat for about 3 hours. Now it’s much different. Still don’t think it’s great, but it decent now. This was the oldest Clone 6 we have in our cellar, so hopefully the next ones are more akin to those we tasted at the winery a few years ago.

Well maybe I am a bit high at 90, but my history with Clone 6 is maybe getting in my way. This one is certainly different! drinking a bit dirty and old for it’s age. Not near as big as it’s brothers and sisters but still fun and interesting!! Enjoy!!

A nice cab but a bit disappointed, Clone 6 is usually very impressive.
