- Light gold color with fast forming legs. It's in total harmony with a light/medium body. Smooth texture with a short finish - Taking into account the price, this daily Bourgogne Blanc is invincible!

Burgundy 2012 Day 4: Visit to Faiveley (Nuits St-Georges, Burgundy): A pretty okay Bourgogne Blanc - in fact, a bit better than the red I thought. It had a very fruity nose, with sweet notes of pineapples, ripe pears and some flowery aromas. Very simple on the palate, again with pear flavours , some flowers, and sweet pineapple candy notes on the side. There was a touch of lemony acidity at the back-end that balanced the wine out nicely though. A decent Bourgogne for party-type occasions.

France 2012 - Côte d'Or; 7/16/2012-7/21/2012 (Beaune): Tasted at the Domaine. From 375ml. Delicious and slightly exotic nose of stone fruit and citrus. Nice weight with a round and soft mouthfeel. Could use a bit more acid as it feels a little blowsy in the mouth. Average.

A bit generic, neutral, but clean and lemony.
