The wine held up very well. There are still strong notes from cherries and plum. It has lost on body, but still very elegant. The levels of acidity have increase, but still within acceptable boundaries. Bottom line, I am positively surprised how the wine aged.

Wine held up to cellaring quite well. We allowed it to breathe for 2 hours. Overall smooth and very pleasant experience. The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are fast. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like plum, cherry and apple. It tastes like cherry, plum, blackberry and red currant. The body is medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

Tasted at a 3-yr vertical ('00-'02). '01 was considered the best of the 3; '02 was next but attendees suggested holding another year; '00 was nicely balanced but nose had turned. Recommend holding not more than 5-6 years.

Very nice - smooth, perfectly aged with fruit and minerals. It actually reminded me of a well made Tuscan wine with zin added to it. I must remember to pick up a couple more when I get up to my favorite AVA in the world - Red Mountain.

Rich Red Wine with Blackberries and Clove, very smooth, very much like a mixture of Merlot and Cabernet. French Oak present with a spicy finish. An excellent wine that is not too well known, grown from an obscure grape.
