  Nose: wet earth, slight floral but all seems muted by the alcohol; in the mouth, hints of sweet cherries and light tannin so appears balanced with fruit and acid for such a high alcohol; bitterness at times but not consistently so; medium body; smooth finish; one dimensional now, perhaps was fuller and fruitier at one time, but has definitely hit a lullaby--it sleeps.
