Yellow-gold. Hint of petrol, but mostly fruity nose. Lime zest gives way to tropical fruit (papaya/guava), pear, and apricot. Nice acid punch keeps it light to medium in body. Zesty.

(Gysler Weinheimer Riesling Kabinett) ($19.00) CORE-LIST WINE. On the money; kirsch and wisteria aromas with top notes of lemon zest and tarragon; the palate veers green, it’s less stiff than usual; wintergreen and ozone and Braeburn apples, but the final finish is stone again.

Tastes exactly like apple cider with a pinch of lime juice. Quite sweet and lacking acidity. Boring. I've had artisinal apple ciders I like better.

A younger wine maker now at the helm? "laser like" focus I am being told and yes, I would have to agree with that. Intense. Delicious too.
