From a magnum on day 3; aged dull crimson; nose shows age, slight brown sugar along with fennel, mahogany, tanned leather, wilted rose, darker cherry, spice, cedar, obvious some new oak here, oak tannins give this a dry finish, fairly masculine; good.

Nice aged barbareaco. Definitely got some age and complexity on the palate. Red fruit and black fruit, leather. Still significant drying tannins but great with food.

Oxidized. A dust bowl even after decanting. Put back into the bottle and tried again and again. More like tawny port or sherry than nebbiolo.
