Medium to full body and pretty heavy and strong taste with clear Shiraz influence. Smooth tannins. Not the best Trio but still pretty good, needs some roast red meat like BBQ or something to compensate for its boldness. Drink now.
Opaque deep purple red color. Opulent, sweet nose with aromas of ripe blackcurrant, pronounced sweet oak spice and vanilla, some butterscotch, a little concentrated strawberry jam, hints of fresh forest berries and a whiff of alcohol. Very sweet and succulent, almost soupy, full body. Ripe to overripe flavors of blackcurrant jam, sweet strawberry, raspberry marmalade, sweet vanilla oak, concentrated dark-toned oak, some smoke and a hint of prune. Modest to low acidity and very unobtrusive, easy tannins. Rich and sweet finish with flavors of sweet plummy fruit, sweet vanilla oak, caramel, overripe strawberry, some toffee, a little coarse wwod spice and a hint of tannic astringency. A touch of alcohol warmth in the throat.
Unbalanced, overripe, over-oaked mass-produced wine for masses. Lacks structure, depth and complexity. This is like alcohol fruit juice with caramel aromas, not wine. Cringeworthy. Can you pair this stuff with anything? Horrible QPR at 9,99€.
